Hard decisions, set against the Gita
Consultations on a hard decision, reasoned from the Bhagavad Gita. Describe the dilemma and an AI model, given the verses closest to it, returns three options with tradeoffs and the verses behind each. The choice stays with the reader. It is not for legal or medical decisions.
The Gita is open to read at your own pace: 701 verses across 18 chapters, in Sanskrit with Hindi and English translations, with 16 topics to browse and recitations to hear. Verses already opened stay readable offline.
Free, with no account. Consultations are stored on the service, and their text goes to the model's provider. Self-hosted, it can run on a local model.
why it exists
A hard decision rarely comes with a clear answer. Layoffs, whistleblowing, conflicting loyalties. General advice on them stays vague.
geetanjali is an experiment in whether reasoning from the Gita holds up on decisions like these.
what it taught
Reasoning from one text can be checked. Each option names its verses, so a reader can open them and disagree.
In November 2026, the 8 featured consultations cited 27 verses. All 27 are in the text.
